Window "spring" 35.5"

A home owner from Hoboken says:
There is a large metal clip that runs in a channel in the window frame - there are very heavy metal/double windows - that was connected to the spring, which runs in a plastic tube and was screwed in at the top about 80% up the height of the window. On both sides of both windows (there are 2) the spring seems to have disconnected from the clip. Please help, I'd love to be able to open these again for the warm weather.

From your photos, the sash carrier looks okay, it just seems to be disconnected from the balances. Raise your carrier to the center of the window track and lock it in place by pressing down on the bottom lever. Now, with a tool like our 75-033, hook the bottom pin and place the top pin under one of the outer slots. Repeat this on the other side. Now, place the sash above the carrier and slowly drop it down until the sash lever engages the carrier lever.
A quick learner from Minneapolis says:
I have a window with the same carrier - do you guys have these?

Sure! This carrier appears to be a match for our 15-232. Look it over and see what you think.
