Windows still drooping

A quick learner from San Jose, CA says:
I replaced the spiral balances for four windows with Series 900 spiral balances. I used the special tool to wind them. One of the windows falls a bit now if opened all the way but was fine when I first installed it about a month ago. Do I just need to turn it one or two more times? or could it be that the window is too heavy for the balance? All of the windows are the same. I turned the others more but they have a hard time going up all the way because they feel "tight". I need to order more balances for the rest of the house and I wanted to know if you would recommend going to a heavier duty product.

Hey, good to see you again. I see you ordered that S900-28 with Red Tips. This can carry window sashes that weigh 10 through 22 pounds. If the weight of your own sash falls in that range, then they should be okay. Just wind them up one or two more times.

Great. Yes my windows are at the heavier end of the range, but within it. I will get my handy tool out and wind them up as you suggest. Thanks
