adjusting plunger pins?

A home owner from Massachusetts says:
How do I adjust or tighten the plunger pins so that my screens are tight?

Thank you for posting! Unfortunately, screen plunger pins cannot be adjusted. Yours might be broken or worn out and may need to be replaced.

I'd be happy to help you find the hardware you need, but I would have to see a few pictures of your existing pins in order to identify them.
A handy person from Massachusetts says:
Do I put the screen "in place" and jiggle the pins? They are new, not broken or anything.

Yes, that might help do the trick. If there is space between the screen and the window frame then you could possible add a stick-on type weatherstripping like our 58-026 to fill in the gaps. You wouldn't put it all the way around, but you could apply it where it was needed so that the screen would fit snug.
