balances with a lighter tension

A quick learner from Canada says:
Good Morning

We are looking for these balances with a lighter tension . It is my understanding that the first number is the length and the second is the weight , is that correct?

We need pricing on about 70 of these.

Thank you for posting. This looks a lot like our Series 770 channel balance. Check it out and see if you agree.

For this Series, the length usually matches the stamp, yes. You should double check just in case, though. You never know! To do this, you can simply measure the metal channel.

I'm also not sure that that "40" represents the sash weight. Two S770-32 balances with a 32D stamp, like what you have, can carry a window sash weight of 25 through 30 pounds. You should double check your sash weight, as well.
