bathroom window channel balance

A landlord from Mercer Island, WA says:
I need two channel balances for small bathroom window. The balance is 17" long, not counting the plastic end fittings. The stamp on the back reads "16 3 EN CALDWELL". The width is 5/8". Pictures of the plastic end fittings are attached.

Good morning. Based on this picture, I would recommend our S385-17 channel balance. Check it out and see if you agree. I would also recommend our 1630 option.
A landlord from Seattle says:
Thanks for your reply Tom. That looks like it should work great. The vinyl single-hung window is in a rental, and I didn't weigh it, but the sliding window portion must be about 17" tall, and about 14" wide. I'm looking at either the 1620 (8-12 lbs) or the 1630 (12-14 lbs). Do you think the 1630 won't be too much for it?

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Your original stamp reads 16 3, which corresponds to our 1630 option. Did you ever get the sense the original balance was too strong? Honestly, if you aren't sure, you should weigh your sash just so you know for a fact which option is better.
