broken/damaged coil balance

A handy person from Highland Il 62249 says:
I don't see any names or numbers on any of the parts. The coil measures 3/4 inch and fastens to the shoe with a screw. I recently moved into the home and discovered this damaged part trying to find out why the window would not close, so don't know how it was damaged.

Thanks for posting. Based on your pictures, everything appears to be in good condition except the springs. I would recommend our Series 170 for the bottom spring and the Series 171 for the top springs. Let me know what you think.
A handy person from Highland, IL says:
This is a dual coil that operates a window that is 41 x 30. Finding this side damaged, I would replace the ones on the opposite side also. What weight would be appropriate for these springs? I can't even imagine what happened to these springs other than user abuse.

Paul from SWISCO responded:
I'm not sure what weight you would need. You'll need to refer to the stamps printed on the springs you have now. If there are no stamps, you'll need to weigh your sash on a scale and let me know what you get, and I can recommend the best choice.
