butting two tracks together

A quick learner from California says:
We have three mirrored door panels that span about 10 to 11 feet. Our plan is to use two 6' tracks 23-256. Are there any recommendations when butting two tracks together? Is there any sort of splice kit or blocking required? We want to be able to roll the center mirrored door across where the two tracks meet.

I would suggest installing a wood block to fit into the bottom of the track. The wood block would work to hold both tracks together. Cut the wood about 6" and use a few flat head screws like the 33-259 to keep the splice together. Another thought would be to install a length of wood across the complete bottom to fit into the bottom of the track. That could be the best solution.
A quick learner says:
Thank you. We like the idea of fitting wood to the bottom of the full length of track. That way we won't have to worry about any issues down the line and it will be easy to do.
