can't find the right spirals

A quick learner from Hawaii says:

I've tried several Swisco orders trying to make my windows work again. In the attached photo, the one at the end is one of the Swisco Series 400s I tried.

The original is fatter, but when I tried your series 500, it was too tight, and my handyman would have to carve out the channel to make it fit.

I'm going to send a sample with a return shipment. I am also going to ask a friend to help me take some more photos.
Attached please find a summary of the balances I've tried to order without success.

I have more than 20 windows.

Thanks for contacting us. I think our Series 500 is your best bet. You likely won't be able to find an exact match for this balance. Making space for the Series 500 is probably your only option. Your original balances are very old and not around anymore. I am sorry we cannot offer anything closer. You would also need a bracket like our 17-012.

After receiving your sample, I agree with Tom. Our Series 500 looks to be the best match, along with a our 17-012 bracket. Specifically, I'd recommend our S500-31 with a red tip.
