casement window crank screw missing

A quick learner from Stamford, CT says:
looking to identify the exact part that i need to replace here for this to work. the Andersen window is missing the little screw which sticks out and where the crank handle attaches to. Do i need to replace the whole operator mechanism or can i just get that little screw bit? in either case, please advise on which units/model numbers to purchase. thank you.

Good afternoon! It looks like the center gear bore has fallen out. I'm afraid this cannot be replaced; you will need a new operator. It's hard to tell exactly what you have but I recommend looking at our 39-095 and 39-151 for two possible replacements.
A home owner from Wisconsin says:
I also have a similar problem with my crank. The first photos show the broken crank, the last shows the working one. Is there a replacement pin I can get, or do I need to replace the whole crank?

I'm afraid we don't sell that pin by itself. I'm not sure who would, to be honest. You may be able to track something down from a hardware store and fashion it to the size you need, but it would probably be easier to replace the whole thing.

See our 39-375 and 39-376, these are similar in design. They can be used on operators with an 11/32" spline.
