Hi Sam,
Looking at the image you sent us, it appears the Bottom Rail Bracket looks detached from the bottom of the sash. See image below to view the hole that should have a screw going up and into the bottom rail of the casement sash.

I am looking for hinge assembly that attaches to the window. Something got loose and the hinge assembly is not attached. On the picture there is a piece on the bottom of window sticking out with a hole, maybe a screw goes on it?

The 39-160, Andersen casement operator bracket, takes a #8 x 5/8" screw
