certainteed coil balance replacement ?

Hi, I need to replace my coil balance springs ... I'm certain I have an old style certainteed (without the nub) ...
My springs however, have a 10 J stamped on them ... they look like 171 springs, they are bronze colored, not silver ...

I can't tell for sure though ...

i weighed my window and it was 17 lbs ...

Thanks for posting. Don't mind the color, that's not an important factor for this kind of spring. As for the spring, it looks like our Series 170 coil. For a sash weight of 17 pounds, I recommend our S170-409. See if you agree.

i just put the new springs in ... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED !

the trickiest pary was getting the pieces back in the window frame ...

it had to be pried open but nothing broke !
