channel balance replacement

A handy person from Encinitas, CA says:
I want to replace the channel balances in some Milgard windows (non-tilt)in my home. Based on my measurements and comparison to your websites photos of top and shoe: I've come up with S351-21 option 2040 as the best match. However, S390-21 looks very similar to S351-21 in the photo on your website with the exception of the color of the plastic shoe. Is my selection likely to work or is there any real difference besides color with S351 vs. S390?

Hey, Sam, thanks for getting in touch with us. The difference between the shoes for the Series 351 and Series 390 has more to do with their sizes than their colors. These Series use our 15-002 and 15-001, respectively, each of which have a different depth. Take a look at the image below to see the difference and let me know which one is closer to what you have.
