the number on the balance is 284 HL CALDWELL and the metal is 29 inches long
and they are 1/2 inch, also I think that the top is part # 18-009 black

on monday I sent you some pictures of my parts. Have not heard back I think that I have figured out the parts I need but because my sash weights real close to the next step up would it still work if I got the stronger spring. Bill
