2290 Window Balance

A quick learner from Summerfield, FL says:
The metal part of this items measures 23" long.
Stamped on one end as 2290 30.
I anticipate needing 4 of these.
This is my first of two requests to identify my parts.

Hello there. Based on the style of fittings on either end, this looks like an S395-23. Please compare. You'll then have to choose a stamp option, which designates the strength of the balance. Your old balance's stamp of 2290 is from an obsolete rating system. To know what stamp to select, obtain the exact weight of the window sash. You can then match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges listed alongside each stamp option under the product description of the S395-23 shop page.
