27G impact resistant

A handy person from Naples, FL says:

It appears this balance is close to the 28" Series 770 Balance but the letter is G and your heavier one is F. Can u help us find the right one?

The window is Milestone series 2000

 Thanks!

Hello! We may be able to supply the S770-28 with a 28G stamp for you, yes. Please give me a little time to confirm that it's possible and I will get back to you ASAP!

Hello again! I have just gotten word that we are adding the 28G option to the S770-28 store page as a standard option. However, it is not currently in stock. We expect it to have a lead time of 5-6 weeks.

I also just noted that the title of your post lists the stamp as "27G," not "28G." That usually means that the metal channel is 27". You may want to triple check that just to be safe.

27G is the number stamped in the balance. The balance is 28" long.
Thanks!

Thanks for confirming. In that case, I think yours might just be an older model. I have seen some old balances that used this type of rating system in the past so it's not totally unheard of, I just wanted to be 100% sure.

The 28G option is currently online for the S770-28. Note that two balances holding this option can hold 36 through 40 pounds. You may want to check that to ensure that it conforms with your own sash weight.

While the 28G is currently out of stock, you can select to be notified via email as soon as we have it.
