Good morning, and thank you for posting on our Discussion Board. Please take a look at our 87-196 Window Roller Assembly. This appears to be our closest match to your own hardware. Do you think you can get this to work as a substitute?

Hello, please also take a look at 87-173, sliding window roller.
A contractor from Long Beach says:
Hi, guys, thanks for the reply, I did look at both of these parts previously, but noted that the set screw distance on 87-196 is 13/32", where my measurements show 1-3/4". Is there an alternative?

The second part is one set screw, can this be used with only one screw connection? I have never replaced these parts and I am unclear if the single set screw will be robust enough. Please advise

Unfortunately, we don't really have an alternative for the 87-196 or 87-173 window rollers. They are our closest matches.

I think that using only one screw connection for these should be okay, however. I generally recommend only using the screws that the manufacturer used, since they designed the window.
