Andersen Window Balancer

A quick learner from Virginia says:
I have double hung Andersen Windows that were manufactured in 2003. I only have the serial number and dimensions of the window I don't have the model. I am trying to replace the balancer for my windows that do not stay up.

Thanks for posting. This may be an Andersen window (or possibly, a 'Renewal by Andersen' window, which is technically different), but this balance is in fact a kind used by several different manufacturers. I believe this is our S770-28 Channel Balance, with a stamp option of 28D. The metal channel should be 28" long. The metal channel attaches to the top of the window jamb via a screw. Let me know if that all seems right, or if you have any other questions.

A quick learner from Virginia says:
Thanks, that lines up with what I have. Thanks again
