Hello,

We'd be happy to help but the balance assembly shown in your photos is too damaged to identify. To get started, we would need to see an intact balance removed from one of your windows, including both ends and the clip attached to the end of the pulley cord. Your 3390 stamp is also outdated, so you'll need to weigh your window sash to determine the corresponding strength option for your replacement balances. Thank you!

A contractor says:
Hello,

Unfortunately I am unable to get a window balance intact.

I don't believe these had any guides either.

Unfortunately, we can't determine the correct replacement for your balance without seeing the clip attached to the end of the pulley that is used for installation. With that being said, you may need something like the S770, which uses a terminal clip for installation.

Is your balance used in a tilt window? if so, it would help to see the pivot shoe that the balance anchors to. That would give us a better idea if the S770 could work for you.
