Balance Replacement

A handy person from Jacksonville Fl says:

I need 4 units of the assembly shown in the picture. The number stamped, which is very light appears to be 9GU 34-9 GB5 CMC. DO YOU CARRY THIS IN STOCK, WHAT IS THE COST WITH SHIPPING?

THANKS

Hello, thank you for posting,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

The length of the metal channel excluding the nylon attachments should measure 35" long, please compare. The 34 9 stamp does not directly translate to our spring strength stamp options. You will need to obtain the weight of the window sash and compare to the strength chart on the product page to determine the correct stamp option.

Please review and let us know if you have any additional questions.
