Thank you for posting on the discussion board. The problems you're describing appear to be the effects of a damaged or worn out operator. To get started, take a look at the 39-031 and 39-032 EntryGard Operators, as well as the 39-155 and 39-156 Caradco Window Operators. You may be able to re-use your handles and operator covers, but if you'd like to replace those items, you can find them in Related Item(s). |

First, you must remove your operator to get the correct one. After you remove the operator, take a look at the Swisco 39-031 EntryGard Operator. I believe this is the type you have, however you must check the measurements on the arms to see if they line up to yours. Also, check to see if you have a right or left handed operator.

Hello, You will need to remove the trim. You should be able to pry it up, take care not to crack the wood cover, it is normally held in with small trim nails.

I'm afraid this stamp alone doesn't tell me anything about the screen or the company who made it. I should also mention that we don't sell complete screens of any kind. I suggest contacting a local hardware store. Think of a mom and pop type of shop, not a big box store. Such establishments are usually familiar with local homes and they may be better able to advise you. |
