Blomberg Window spring assembly

A home owner from San Francisco says:

I have a Blomberg double hung aluminum window that was installed about 30 years ago. The side spring mechanism has broken, and I would like to replace it. Can you help me get the correct part? The window is 4-feet x 4-feet. See the attached .pdf for some images of the part. It is 23-inches long. The spring is 10-inches.

Thank you for your help with this matter.

A little more detail:
The correct length (per video) is 22-inches.
It is marked with "2140"
The base is 1-1/8 inches
The window weighs 25 pounds

Looking at your product page it appears that the 22" Series 390 Channel Balance
Product Code: S390-22 with sash weight option 2140 or 2150 would be correct.

Does this sound correct to you?

Thanks again

Hello,

I agree that your balance resembles the S390-22 as long as the 1-1/8" depth matches yours. As for the strength option, your stamp would normally indicate that you need 2140 options but they will be calibrated to support a sash between 15-23 lbs. If your sash weighs exactly 25 pounds, you would need 2150 options to support a  23-27 lbs sash. Take a look and thanks for posting.
