Bottom of Window Broken

A home owner from Haymarket, VA says:
I have a window that the bottom part of the window has been broken by painters. How can I get replacement parts for this window. The bottom part in question is screwed in place by a screw at each of the window. I feel also this part is glued as well. But the question is where can I find this profile? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello! Looks like you need a new tilt pin. My suggestion is the 20-016. This looks like a comparable replacement for your part, but look it over and see what you think.

These are usually just screwed in place, in my experience. I've never seen them glued before. That's not to say that yours aren't glued, but you don't have to worry about using glue to reinstall them. It's not necessary.
