Broken lock

A quick learner from Des Moines, Iowa says:
Truth Part 45189. With an 8 under this number. Went to close and lever flopped so I knew it broke. Hope this is an easy fix for a 74 year old lady?. Thanks

Hello! This lock looks like a match for our 38-144 at first glance. Review our dimensions below to verify. As for whether this is an easy fix, I personally think it's doable. These just screw to the frame, there's nothing fancy to it. 

The only complication that might arise is that the new lock might not be compatible with the old keeper; these are the hooks on the window frame that the lock secures to. You should check to make sure that your keepers match our 38-276 and 38-277. If they do, then you're good to go!
