Broken pivot bar

A home owner from Tennessee says:
Hi!
I was cleaning my sash window and when I went to put it back in the pivot bar broke. At least that's what I think has happened according to a Google search. Anyway I need a new pivot bar, which looks like the picture. It says 5 on it and I have no idea where it broke to know how long it is. Thanks!

Hello there. It looks like you might have a pivot bar similar to the 26-226 or 26-030, but without seeing an undamaged version I cannot entirely confirm which you need. I would remove an undamaged one, perhaps from the other side of the window, to confirm if either of these options match what you have. See the videos below which explain how to remove and replace pivot bars; you may find them useful.
