Broken strings on at least 4 window balancers

A quick learner from California says:
Hi,i was wondering if the strings can be repair by you or can you send a new cord ? or else do I have to replace the hole balancer? My second question:do you sell or recommend a Lubricant for the rest of my windows ? ( they are about 19 years old and they seem to be : dry ; heavy to open) Four of my windows have failed in the last year and upon removal & inspection ,I found that only the string broke on all of them. Please help me determine which way to go! Thanks

Hello and thank you for reaching out to us. I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your balances. Since the string is broken, you will need to replace the entire balance. We can help you find a replacement. We would need to see photos of the entire balance removed from the window as well as the length and width measurement of the balances you're replacing.

As for your others balances, it also sounds like it is time to replace them as well. When you are ready to replace them, you may also follow the same steps and we will help you find a match.
