Broken window balance

A quick learner from Howell NJ says:
Broken part is from a low end brand of window that has apparently been discontinued. There is NO Notch to remove the balance. I'm asking for advice on how to remove the broken piece and the availability, if any, of a suitable replacement part from Swisco. Other than the 5R marking in the picture I see no other markings of any kind.

Thanks for reaching out! The plastic housing you have appears to be our part 15-087. To determine if this is the right replacement you'll need to remove your hardware from the window to confirm the right replacement.

The coil springs compatible with this housing are the Series 180 Coils. Given that your housing is stamped with a 5, it is likely that you'll need the S180-5 Coil Spring.
