Cap or seal to prevent ac leak?

A quick learner from Florida says:

My sliding glass doors have a gap at the bottom and top of each door and are each missing like the plugs that are on the fixed part of the door that seal the inside from the outside.

I can tell on another sliding glass door it has a like styrofoam plastic piece that is seals the gap - if there's no part should I just cut a pool noodle?

Thank you for you help!

Hello,

Unfortunately, I'm not sure if we carry a part that would work as a draft plug. You could consider something like the 58-184. It is foam and adhesive, but you might be better off getting an adhesive pile pad from a local hardware store and cutting it to fit in the gap. I'm sorry that we won't be able to provide a better solution but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions. Thanks for posting.

Thank you I really appreciate your help and response!!

I did a bunch of research and what I need is called an Astragal plug (bottom) and astragal weather strip plug (top)

I see. Unfortunately, the only astragal replacement that we carry is the 40-050, which is a Pella-specific product. We apologize for the inconvenience.
