Channel Balance Replacement

A quick learner from Orlando, Florida says:
Hi Swisco experts,

I've got several balances that need replacement. It appears the nylon hook attachment to the tilt piece place has also snapped.
Total length of the balance is 28" and about 1/2" wide channel.

These are tilt windows. Do you also provide the entire tilt piece along with the balance? Would appreciate help in finding the right part.

Hello, thank you for posting,

Your balance resembles the Series 770 channel balance. This balance installs into the window channel with a screw. If yours uses a hook instead like the 19-029 or 19-030, please let me know as we will need to install a rivet in the balance for this hook.

The length is determined by the metal channel only. If it is 28 inches, please review the S770-28 channel balance. The 27C stamp should translate to a 28C stamp that can support a 18 to 23 lb, but we recommend weighing the sash to confirm. 

As for the pivot shoe, the original will need to be removed from the channel. From there, please provide written out dimensions of the width and thickness. We can then compare to our selection to determine the best fit. Thank you!
