Combination storm/screen aluminum windows

A quick learner from Boston, MA says:

At the bottom of the combination window is a little slide thing on each side corner of the bottom of the window which you push to the side to move a small post at the end of the slide which allows you to then remove the window. It is about 3 1/4 long. It is all one piece. I've bought corner pieces from you before with good luck but not one of these sliding pieces. The windows are over 60 years old and were installed by Sears I believe

Hi Karen. Like all storm window parts, these old slide bolts are getting harder and harder to replace, since none of this hardware is really made anymore. If it's a Sears window, your options are limited since the originals are definitely no longer available. We've recommended our 91-158 and 91-159 pair to potentially replace Sears slide bolts in the past, but I can make no guarantees they'll work. It all comes down to the dimensions. Compare the dimensions of your old slide bolts to the diagrams below, and let me know if these happen to match what you need, or rather if they differ in any way.
