Crank cover

A quick learner from Minneapolis area says:
I have Hayfield windows that have the Truth 40068 operator and I am looking for new covers for the operator. A white operator Product Code: 39-138 looks to be a replacement operator but the screws are visible and there is a gap around the operator when inserted. Is there a cap for this operator or the original 40068 operator.

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:

Thanks for reaching out to us. We don't sell a replacement for this cover, unfortunately. I believe it could have been something that "Hayfield windows" had made special for their windows. Normally an operator like the 39-138 operator is used on Aluminum windows. However, your window is made of wood and Truth would have used a different style operator. I am very sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions.
