A quick learner from Rolling Meadows, IL says:
I am having trouble finding a replacement for my sliding door handle. It is a DNS surface mount with a special latching bracket (see photos). Can you help?

Hello, thank you for posting,

Your original handle set has been discontinued, but we recommend reviewing the 82-036 as a possible replacement option. Compare the overall dimensions and the locking teeth to see if you think this style could work for your door. Let us know what you think and if you have any additional questions.

A quick learner from Rolling Meadows, IL says:
The problem is the latch keeper and how it is mounted. The product you show attaches with screws on the same plane as the latch hole. On my door, it must be perpendicular to the latch hole. If you look at my photos, you will see that my current latch keeper is "L" shaped which passes through a slot in the frame and bolts on the frame with the latch hole being on the inside.

I apologize for the overlook. Unfortunately due to this detail, the 82-036 would not work. We do not carry a different option. I am sorry that we cannot assist with your repair.
