Guides for bottom of bypass door

A handy person from Nashville, TN formally Bloomfield, NJ says:
When I moved into our home here in TN, we had already had new hardwood floors installed. The closet doors in our bedroom were just swinging from the top track. I don't know what the bottom looked like originally. Your pictures most resemble my assembly, though it appears they trimmed the doors considerably (1" to 1 1/8").

It seems that this ad represents a guide that would be placed where the doors overlap and keep them from moving in and out and restrict the movement to side to side.
