Help finding replacement parts for casement windows

A home owner from Southern Pines, NC says:

Hi!

We have 9 beautiful Carolina windows with hardware that is falling out one by one. We got a quote for replacing the windows and it would be $10K. And then I found your website so I'm really hoping you can help!

Thank you!

Lindsey

Thanks for reaching out! We can offer a replacement for almost all of the related pieces of hardware, however, we do not carry the link arm you have pictured here. That part has been discontinued by Roto, so if you are able to reuse it on the replacement hardware then you should be fine.

Starting with the operators, take a look at parts 39-091 and 39-092. Carefully look over the dimensions and compare them to your existing hardware to confirm if these are the right fit. The handles compatible with these operators are the 39-224 fold-down and 39-230 non-folding crank handles (these have a 5/16" Hex). You may also need the 39-557 Roto Spacer, only if your window has one installed.

In regard to the hinges, I suggest beginning with the 2-Bar Hinge Set, part 36-048. Carefully review and compare the dimensions to your existing hinges. You will need to change both the top and bottom to ensure the window remains even; they can be installed on both the right and left side of the window.
