A home owner from TAMPA says:

Hi,

Looking to replace 2 x Channel Block & Tackle Window Balances. They are stamped 2940 and are 30" long and 9/16 or 10/16" or 5/8" wide.

Thanks,

Chuck

Hi Chuck, thank you for posting,

It appears you have either our Series 351, with a 15-002 bottom attachment, or Series 390, with a 15-001 bottom attachment. Take a look at the image below to determine which balance you'll need.

You will need a 30" balance with a 2940 stamp option. Please review and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi Lauren,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. You mentioned the replacement could be one of the following:

Series 351, with a 15-002 bottom attachment
or
Series 390, with a 15-001 bottom attachment

I notice they have different color plastic bottom attachments. Mine has the same beige/yellow attachment as the 15-002. Would that be the one I would choose?

Hello,

Please disregard the color of the shoe. The right replacement depends on the depth of the balance shoe as shown in the diagram. The 15-002 shoe has a 1" depth while the 15-001 has a 1-1/8" depth. The dimension will determine the correct series to choose.

Let me know if you have any additional questions!
