A quick learner from Illinois says:

I bought the 40-119 Swisco mortise security mortise lock.
But I need the latch to face the other, because this won't work on my door.

How to ?

The latch on this mortise lock is reversible. You should be able to spin the latch so that it faces the opposite direction.
