Identifying parts

A quick learner from USA says:
I have taken pictures of the parts I need and I measured of the spiral balance. I also need a pivot shoe. The spiral balance is 28 1/2' long.
Thank you,

the windows are able to tilt. There are no color tips on the spiral balance tubes. The diameter of the balance tube is 3/8. The length of the tube is 28 1/2. The pivot shoe is 15/16 wide x 2 1/8 tall x 3/8 inches wide deep. You will see in the photo it is taller on one side with a point. That side is 2 1/4 tall.

The spring loaded pivot bar measurements are:
Overall length is 2 1/4.
Longest length from plastic knob is 1 3/4.
Width is 5/16.
Height is 3/16.

The weight of the smallest sash is 16.2 lbs. The larger sash weighs 19 lbs.

I have attached photos.

Thanks for your help.

Hey there!

Thank you for the detailed information. It's a huge help! Starting with the pivot shoe and pivot bar, take a look at the 26-083 and 15-212. As for the spiral balance, I recommend the 3/8" S900-29 with the red tip option. A pair of balances with this option will support a sash weighing 10 to 22 pounds. We also sell the 75-006 charging tool (sold separately).

The tilt latches bring the 26-195 and 26-196 to mind. You'll just want to carefully go over the specifications to see if they match what you need.

Let us know if you have any questions!

Will this longer balance tube restrict the how much the window will open?

It should be fine to round up the length in this case. That's what we've always done for these old 1/2" length tubes and we find that rounding up works fine.
