Jordan sliding door rollers

A quick learner from alabama says:
I need rollers for an old Jordan 5068 alum sliding patio unit. (not screen rollers)
I know Jordan ceased business some years ago in Memphis, tn.
Do you know the rollers I need??
OR must I remove (a pain) to determine the correct roller replacement??

(I will also need your handle set 82-033)
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, yes, you will need to remove the rollers. With very rare exception, sliding glass door rollers are brand-generic, meaning many different manufacturers use the same parts, and there's no clear pattern between a certain make and a specific roller. In the case of Jordan, the 81-023 and 81-112 have come up in past discussions, but by no means frequent enough for may to say if either of these rollers is what you need. Removing the roller and sending us pictures, along with measuring the width and thickness of the assembly, is unfortunately the best thing to do.

The videos below show how to do this, however I will add one further tip. You mentioned it's an old aluminum door. This seems to be the case with a number of past customers looking to replace the rollers on their Jordan sliding doors. In almost every case, they made the mistake of just removing the inner portion of the roller assembly, and leaving the outer housing lodged in the door. We need to see the entire assembly for identification. With aluminum doors, sometimes you have to remove the bottom panel to get the whole thing out. I know this is indeed a hassle. Unfortunately there's no other way.

If you can give us that information we will do our best to narrow this all down for you.
