Kinco balance and guide

A handy person from Dade City, FL. 33525 says:

Please help me with the replacement of channel balance and top sash guide for Kinco double-hung window.

The metal part of balance is 30"

The 2 windows weigh 35 each

I would like a price to replace the balance and sashes

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either the S380-30 or S385-30 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. 

You'll also need either 2960 or 2965 strength options for your replacement balances since both options will support a 35-pound sash as shown below. Just make sure you use the same strength option for both sides of the window. 

As also carry the 18-044 and 18-166 top sash guides but you would need to compare the specifications below to your original guide. If neither is a match, get back to us with photos and written-out dimensions of your guide to help us research your replacement options further. Thank you!

2960: 32 to 35 lbs

2965: 35 to 39 lbs
