Latch release tab

A handy person from Grand Rapids, Mi says:
I am looking for replacement window latch release tabs. These have become yellowed, brittle and broken at the little catches circled in blue. They are about 2 inches long and 13/16th wide. Those dimension are not critical, only the two feet that drop into the slider to release the tilt latch. That seems to be about 1/2 inch wide, excluding the little hooks (not seen in the picture as they are broken). Thank You!

Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us. You're 100% correct: the overall size of the latch cap isn't as important as the size and spacing of the forks.

With that in mind, we only sell two types that have a 1/2" total fork width: the 26-119 and 26-235. They're also the same length at 7/16".

Where these two parts differ is how thick the individual legs are. For the 26-119, the leg thickness is 1/8", while on the 26-235 this dimension is 3/8".

Look both parts over and see if either one would work for you. Also be mindful of the leg length; if yours aren't 7/16", that may be disqualifying.
