This shoe looks like it could be a match for either our 15-220 or 15-218, depending on size. Look these two parts over to determine which, if either, is the better match.

I've removed my pivot shoe and measured it extensively! I believe the best replacement will be 15-218. I'd like 2 of them please. I also need 2 pivot bars (9/32" X 1/8" thick). See pictures attached.

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Great! I'm glad to hear it's a match. As for your pivot bar, I can't see the front tip of it to be sure, but I can tell you that the 15-218 is traditionally used with the 26-424. Does this style match your original?

All orders can be placed directly on our site at your convenience.

A home owner from Seabrook NH says:
My pivot bar doesn't look like 26-424. But the replacement pivot bar would be used with your 15-218 pivot balance shoe. I've include a picture of what mine looks like. Is the 26-424 compatible with the 15-218?

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Aha, this new photo is a huge help. I actually do recognize this pivot bar and am intimately acquainted with it. This is a very old style that they stopped making years ago; it never had an official name but I've always called it the "forked" pivot bar, privately.

Believe it or not, the 26-424 can replace this. I used it myself at the recommendation of a colleague a long time ago to replace this exact part, and I found it worked perfectly well despite the differences in design. As I said before, the 26-424 is traditionally used with the 15-218 shoe, too, so I feel very confident that this will work for you.
