Need help installing bottom pin and metal closet door.

There It's nothing holding it in place. It just drops to the bottom.

Hi

I really submitted a question. But I wanted to add some updated photos of the hardware that is existing. It does not show anything holding the pin in place. Very confusing.

Hello, thank you for posting,

In your first set of photos, you are showing the 21-058 top spring loaded pin. You would slip the pin from the end of the door through the spring and place the locking cotter pin through the hole before it comes out of the door. That will give tension to the pin. The other five photos you show the bottom pin. The door manufacturer, Leigh didn't feel it was necessary to use a spring at the bottom of the door since the pin locks into the nylon guide.
