Mid century sliding glass door handle and lock

A quick learner from Los Angeles says:
Hello. I have several midcentury sliding glass doors. For one, the handle (wood? plastic?) and lever broke off. For the other, the locking mechanism inside the box is missing as the previous owners sealed up the door. Worst case, I'd love to find the handle. Best case, one with the locking mechanism. We have been told we need to replace the entire sliding glass doors but there is nothing wrong with either door. Thank you!

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for I don't recognize your door hardware at first glance. To get started, we'd like to see the keeper in the door frame that the locking hook engages with. Also, please write out the exact distance between the center of the top and bottom installation holes. Thank you!

A quick learner from Los Angeles says:
Hi and thank you. Here are more photos. When you say the distance between the center of the top and bottom installation holes, are you meaning the screw holes where the handle attaches? If so, it's 2 mm under 3". Appreciate your help!

Unforutnately, we were not able to locate a patio door handle set with mounting screws under 3". We do offer the 82-030 handle set that uses a mortise lock but the screw holes are 3-15/16" apart. This would require drilling new installation holes.

The 82-218 mortise lock is often used with this assembly but I'm not sure if it would fit your cutout. See the dimensions below and let us know how the size of your cutout and installation holes compare. Thank you.
