Missing the piece that keeps sliding door from falling out

A quick learner from Greenville PA says:
Picture 1 is the top of my set of doors that work correctly and has rail to keep the door from falling out. Pic 2 is the set we just installed that we got used. And it's missing that piece.nit sure what to look for. They are 30 year old anderson sliding doors.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Take a look at the 82-059 Andersen bracket which is used to secure the top of the stationary patio door. I believe this is a newer version of the one you show in your photos. We also carry the 80-059 if you think that one would work better for you. Review the specifications for each and see what you think.
