Hello, Thanks for writing in! Given the length of your balances you'll likely need Extended-Travel Channel Balances, which will need to be a custom balance assembly. With that said, I'll need to see a clearer photo of the bottom shoe attachment. I am looking to see the shape of the side of the shoe as well as the hook attached to it. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have. |

Thanks for the photos. They help a great deal to narrow down the replacement you need. Although, I will need to see a better photo of the hook. Unfortunately, I cannot see exactly how the end of it attaches to the window because it is still installed. Once I have this information I can get that order link sent right over to you. Please let me if you have any questions. |

The part I am asking to see a photo of is the metal hook/clip in the window frame. This is the part that anchors the balance string so that it can extend from and retract into balance channel. It is supposed to be connected directly to the balance shoe. The hardware you have included a photo of is the top sash guide. This helps to guide the balance in the window channel and help to prevent it from shooting up into the window frame. This is the 18-171 Alpine Stepped Sash Guide. Take a look over the dimensions to confirm that this is the right replacement. Alternate view of 18-171

Yes, that is the clip I was requesting to see photos of. I've forwarded a link with a quote for (2) of these custom, Extended Travel Channel Balances; there is an order minimum of (2) balances per custom balance. If you would like a larger quantity of balances, please let me know and I'll be happy to adjust the quote for you. You'll be able to use the provided link to review the quote and add the items to your online cart. Don't forget to add the top sash guides you need along with the balances. Please feel free to reach out with any other questions. |
