Need help finding a replacement

A handy person from Visalia California says:
The part is 28" long the stamp on the part is 2790 and 30 there's also a an AG and 8.51 stamped between the 2790 and 30.
I don't know the weight of the sash I'm hoping one of the numbers in the stamp would denote the weight.

Both balances are destroyed and it appears the take out tabs are missing (I'm unsure if this mattered when attempting to reinstall the new balances or if they are available as replacements.

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but, unfortunately, your stamp code is from an outdated weight system that is no longer used. For that reason, you would need to determine the exact weight of the sash to follow the chart under our balance product description, which shows the corresponding strength option for each weight range.

If you need help determining the correct series to replace your balances as well, we would need to see the fittings attached to both ends of the metal channel to compare to our inventory. If these balances are too damaged, I would recommend checking another window in the house that uses the same balances that may be in better shape. In the meantime, take a look at the specifications of our 16-002 take-out clips to confirm if they would work in your windows. Thank you!

Thanks for your help so far. So the sash weight is 25lbs and the unit is pretty damaged and there are no other windows like this in the house surprisingly. But based on a previous search it seems like the 28" 350 would match as much as I have available in just not sure how the weight rating would work.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for getting back to us. I can't confirm if the S350-28 would be the correct replacement without seeing the end fittings of your balance but if you're confident that the specifications match yours, you would need 2740 strength options to support a window sash between 19-26 lbs. You can also find the chart under the S350-28 product descriptions that includes a chart showing the weight ranges supported by each option.
