Hello,

Thanks for posting! Your coil shoe looks a lot like the 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe. Carefully review and compare the dimensions below to confirm that this is the right replacement.

This shoe is compatible with the 1/2" thick Series 152 Coil Balance. After you've removed the assembly from the window channel, you'll need to look for any stamps/markings that will indicated the spring strength need. If there are no stamps/markings or they are hard to read, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of your sash and divide that number by the total number of coils in the window.

The 33-072 is used to secure the coil balance to the shoe. You may also need the 15-143 Coil Bushing, the 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and the 15-145 Coil Support Barrel.

To remove the coil springs, you'll need to remove the entire assembly, since all of the hardware is connected. You'll need to engage the metal cam so that the brake will release the shoe in the channel and then you'll need to guide the shoe up the channel.

I've attached a few tutorial videos below detailing how you can remove these assemblies. Take a look to see if they might be of help.
