NuSash Windows

A home owner from Indianapolis says:
Windows were made in 1989 by Georgia Pacific for NuSash. This stripping goes around the window frame. We need to replace this stripping as it has come out over the years. Appears to have foam inside the stripping.

Thanks for posting. Can you tell me how this foam seal attaches to the window? Does it have a T-Base or a kerf, or perhaps just a bulb that presses in? I can't tell from these photos. If you could confirm that, I'll do my best to see what we might have for you.

A home owner from Indianapolis says:
It has a T-Base and slides into a groove along the outside of the window frame.

What you describe is very similar to how our 58-135 bubble seal operates. Granted, the overall design is very different from your original, but the way it installs and its general function is the same. Review our dimensions and end profile and see what you think.

A home owner from Indianapolis says:
The 58-135 looks hollow inside. Is it? Ours has a foam inside of it. We assumed it was some kind of insulation.

Bob from SWISCO responded:

In my experience, foam and hollow bubble both do the same job equally well. I've never really observed an advantage of one over the other, but it is ultimately up to you. Either way, we don't sell a foam seal with a "T" installation strip.

A home owner from Indianapolis says:
Thank you for your help. We are going to try the one you have suggested and just placed the order. Thanks again.

You're welcome! Please feel free to reach out if we can be of any further assistance.

A home owner from Indianapolis says:
Sorry to bother you again. The 58-135 slid into the groove just fine but the tubular portion is too big. We cut an old piece and measured it that way and it appears we need 3/16" X 3/16" and it is filled with foam. Also found it was Louisiana Pacific instead of Georgia Pacific that manufactured the windows for NuSash and we found a serial number on the window if that would help. Any thing else we can try?

Bob from SWISCO responded:

I'm afraid we don't have a better option in that size. When it comes to bubble seal that installs with a "T" shaped base, the 58-134 is the smallest possible option we have access to. This has a 9/32" bubble but a 9/32" base. You might want to triple check your measurements to see if this might be a better fit.
