Hello, thank you for posting,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

Since the stamp is faded, you will need to weigh the window sash. Remove the sash and place on a bathroom scale.

If the length of the metal channel excluding the nylon attachments is 29" long, review the 29" product page of the series you need. From there, compare the weight of the window sash to the strength chart under the product description to choose the correct stamp option.

Please review and let us know if you have any additional questions.

It looks to me that the measurement is 7/8 inch- neither 1 or 1 3/32nd

Thank you for informing,

With a 7/8" shoe we will need to custom assemble the balance replacement for you with the 19-005 top and 15-029 bottom shoe.

Dimensions for 15-029
Dimensions for 15-029

To move forward, we will need the exact weight of the window sash.

Please also inform how many balances you need and I can send over an order link with pricing for your review. For custom orders there is a minimum order of (2).

A quick learner from Florida says:
Okay, I just found a stamp on the other sash that was legible. It was 28B USB. The sash weighs 17 lbs.

Lauren from SWISCO responded:

Thank you,

A 28B stamp would usually translate to our 2820 option, but this spring strength can support a 12-16 pound range. For a 17 pound sash, that would fall into the 2830 stamp for a 16-23 pound range.

Let me know which stamp option you would like to move forward with and I can send over an order link. How many balances do you need? Thank you!

A quick learner from Florida says:
I need two for now, and let's go with the stronger sash unless the price difference is significant.

No problem,

The price is the same for both options. I have sent over an order link for (2) balances with pricing for the 2830 stamp option.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions and these balances are nonrefundable.
