A home owner from Michigan says:
This might be a silly question - but what holds on that thin piece of wood over the plastic handle/

Hello there. Not a silly question at all. The 83-122 is held together by a screw that's under that circular Pella logo. You can pry that logo off with a slotted screwdriver to get at the fastener. Now in all honesty, I'm not entirely sure that's what keeps the wood facade of the handle in place; it may simply be slotted into place within the exterior frame of the pull. But getting to that screw is how you at least begin to disassemble this handle set. Let me know if that makes sense, or if you have further questions.
