Pella Screen Door

A home owner from Grand Junction, CO 81504 says:

I have a Pella sliding glass patio door with screen door (circa 2005- 2010 install).

The screen door needs repair.

1) worn/chipped rollers (4)

2) new screen & rubber cord

3) following vertical rubber bug, wind, moisture flexible sealer strip

Dimensions:

Screen door: 77 1/2" X 35"

Screen foot print: 73 3/4" X 31 1/2"

Following seal: 1 1/8" wide, insert 1/4" deep

(channel is ~ 1/4")

Photos included with ruler shown

All screws I have seem re-usable.

The aluminum frame seems solid all the way around including corners(but if a

reinforcement is available, want that also)

Photos attached.

Parts available? Cost for those that are.

Hello,

I would recommend starting by comparing the specifications of the 84-008 screen door roller to yours. We may be able to replace some of your seals as well but we would need to see clear end profile photos of each one uninstalled, along with written-out dimensions, to compare to our inventory. Thank you!

Additional photos :

See attached for -

(1) end view of "following" rubber flat seal.

1 1/8" wide x ~ 1/4" to 3/16" thick

throughout 77 1/2 " length ?..

with a ~ 1/4" square integrated segment

on underside that fits into the metal

channel for stability/attachment. The entire

seal slips onto narrow aluminum edge

lips that run the entire length of the door

frame channel (on "following" side of the

screen door).

(2) view of "following" strip seal showing it

mounted on the screen door frame.

The integrated 1/4" square rubber segment

fits into the metal channel as it is mounted

(slid) onto the door frame "following"

along the entire length (77 1/2 " length).

I will try and call tomorrow afternoon to discuss

this to answer any questions and hopefully complete an order for all repair parts I need that you may have.

Thank you for your help.
